Laser Sensor

Laser Sensor

LASER is an acronym for "Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation". It is a device that radiates coherent light by excitation of molecules in a gas, or electrons in a solid, to a high energy stage and their release of this energy in the form of light after amplification by to and fro oscillations.

A laser beam has the following features. (1) Monochromatic (2) Low divergence (3) High energy density (4) Coherent in phase laser sensors are also one type of photoelectric sensor. It is suitable for positioning and minute object detection.
  • Amplifier Separated

As the sensor head contains only the emitting and the receiving elements, its size can be made small. Further, the sensitivity adjustment can be done from a remote place.

  • Amplifier Built-in

Since the amplifier is built-in, just connecting the DC electric power supply can provide a Non-contact output.
